Got a chance to chop it up with a group of guys by the name of Far East Movement! Representing the West Coast and bringing in that new fusion sound of Hip-Hop & electro, I got to know a lil more of what the group brings to the table. Had a good conversation with Kev Nish (one member of the group FM), but had to compress the interview to 6 minutes. Listen in and enjoy! Oh yea, if you didn't know... GETTA CLUE!!!

It used to be that mixtapes would have leaks releases of music from the artists, but new music leaks are now being put on the internet. Some wonder how does the music get leaked. Below is at picture chart of possible avenues.
I enjoy looking at studio setups of DJs who produce because they tell the history of their lives and journey through their albums and production tools. DJ Spinna gives us a tour of his home studio. One of the best things Spinna said about being a DJ, when giving a tour of his album collection was "you had to be able to play anything... it wasn't about being into one genre of music, it's about playing for the people, rockin the crowd from beginning to end." Something that I personally live by! Enough of the yappin, here's the vid... and if you don't know GETTA CLUE!
If you didn't think for a second that Eminem wouldn't respond to Mariah Carey's Obsessed, well think again! Shots have been fired with a warning missile and guarantee more fire power will rang out if she doesn't keep his name out her mouth. Whoa, this looks like something's gonna stir up! Take a listen!
Eminem- "The Warning"
Man O man, just watching this give me chills... the good kind! If ever you thought you had skills as a DJ, guess again! DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ AM together at a venue, ripping it up when... All I can say is AM had noting on Jazzy Jeff! This can make folks throw in the towels as a DJ. Beginners, IPod DJs, club owners, and all the above please take notes on how it's done!
The weekend is here and it was nice outside! So to enjoy it, I decided to make another random mix! When I say random... I really mean random. No post production, no figuring transitions, no playlist! Just feeling the flow of the music! In this series you get a mix of; Kanye West, Johnny Kemp, Daft Punk, Mary J. Blige, Kevin Rudolf, Ya Boy, Chester French, the late GREAT Michael Jackson and more! So without further ado, I present the Completely Random Mix Vol. 3! ENJOY, and if you don't know... GETTA CLUE!!

It seems like a lot of people have become DJs like everyone is a rapper, or singer, or guitarist (Guitar Hero). There has been a massive amount of people who have bought Serato and thougt they could become an instant DJ... LMAO! Well to better prove my point, here is what I like to call "Humorous Slap From Reality!"... and you know some people are gonna think that's what it takes. HAHAAAAHA! ENJOY!

Now if you haven't herd it from me before, I said it back before "The Mixtape About Nothing", Wale is one of my favorite artists and I don't have a favorite artist. Get the lingo?! Anyway, so it seems that he's here with another single "Chillin" to hit the media. The song has Lady Gaga feature on it, but it sounds to me as if she's bitin' Santogold or MIA style. Nevertheless the track goes hard with a sample from Steam... you guessed it "Na Na Na Hey Hey!" Cool & Dre produced the record, which I wouldn't had guessed that. So put this in your iWhateva and play it. Shouts out to Conerstone and 1200squad! If you still don't know... GETTA CLUE!
Take a listen!
So I've been hearing about Reebok throwin it back with the shoe game for awhile now, but I am intrigued to blog it out. Reebok has come out with the 09 Reebok Classics, look for them at your local mall, and Kidz In The Hall are showcasing for the SK7000 model in part of the Classic Re-Mix collection. With the shoe purchase, you will receive a track from the Kidz In The Hall "I Got It Made" which there's a sample from (numero uno) Special Ed's joint also title "I Got It Made". Good looks on the shoe game also Will be gettin my pick up shortly. Shouts out the Blaze from Cornerstone and 1200 Squad for the track.
Here's the song for your listening pleasures!
Man, where do I start. Ok, so I got this single awhile back named Replacement Girl. It was a cat name Drake featuring Trey Songz. The song was pretty hot but unfortunately, did not make a radio add moves. So while I was looking into a song, Bobby Valentino's second single Butterfly Tattoo, I come across this new mixtape that goes by the name SO FAR GONE by Drake. I thought to myself that I've heard of this name before and I was intriged by the cover. So I looked into this project. Whoa, this is by far the best mixtape I've heard of 2009. Really loved the transition of Rap and R&B he portrays. (another note he does it flawlessly too!) Some joints I like on there are 1. Houstatlantavegas, 5. November 18, and 10. Best I Ever Had, not to mention the outro... Actually the whole damn tape was great! I just realized that this cat is an actor from Degrassi, that teeny-bop show. Never the less, the tape goes hard and it's defintley worth the download! Look out for the interview!
