Now, I've been getting familiar with Clinton Sparks for years now, before smashtime! Lil Wayne Suing DJ Drama & Mixtape DJ Making Moves

So apparently Lil Wayne has not made enough money and wants more, so he's going after the people who made him who he is "MIXTAPE DJ's". According to files reported on February 18, 2009. Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records filed suit on DJ Drama (Tyree C. Simmons), Aphilliates Music Group, ABCD Music Group Inc., Deep Distribution World Wide Inc., Cinque Productions Inc., Making Moves Entertainment, & Frank Nino. They apparently are suing over royalties from 5 mixtapes including "Dedication 2", "Dedication 3", "Dedication Chopped & Screwed", and others. Now, I myself have a problem with folks bootlegging songs from forums, boards, p2ps, etc. and putting it on a CD and calling their selves Mixtape DJs. But as in Wayne's case, someone is leaking his shit from his inner circle. Another things is I don't believe Wayne would have been as successful as he is now if it wasn't for DJ Drama, because Drama put Wayne out to the masses, LITERALLY! A sad day in history for music! This is to all of the Hardware junkies out there, Rane's Serato Scratch has upgraded their audio interface box with the "NEW" SL 3. That's right! Now, how is this better than the SL1 you asked? They have upgraded the USB to the current 2.0 speed, a 24-bit audio process with up to a 48kHz converter, 3 I/O (audio inputs and outputs), and more! I am a Traktor Pro user but am up for toying with this. So save up ya money for the new hardware, unless Traktor comes out with something then... well to each his own. GETTA CLUE! Leave ya comments!

While Im on my mini vacation here in Cali, I had to make my record stops in search for some good vinyls, shouts out to The Beat in Sacramento CA! While out on my pursuit, which I have yet to retrieve my Tom Scott or The Four Seasons, I noticed that vinyls are becoming a necessity more than ever. With Serato, Traktor, Torq, etc. coming to the technology forefront, why are people in tune with that good ol' analog sound?.. I guess to each his own, but I am still on my quest for that snap, crackle, and pop!

So I've been hearing about Reebok throwin it back with the shoe game for awhile now, but I am intrigued to blog it out. Reebok has come out with the 09 Reebok Classics, look for them at your local mall, and Kidz In The Hall are showcasing for the SK7000 model in part of the Classic Re-Mix collection. With the shoe purchase, you will receive a track from the Kidz In The Hall "I Got It Made" which there's a sample from (numero uno) Special Ed's joint also title "I Got It Made". Good looks on the shoe game also Will be gettin my pick up shortly. Shouts out the Blaze from Cornerstone and 1200 Squad for the track.

Drake- So Far Gone!

Man, where do I start. Ok, so I got this single awhile back named Replacement Girl. It was a cat name Drake featuring Trey Songz. The song was pretty hot but unfortunately, did not make a radio add moves. So while I was looking into a song, Bobby Valentino's second single Butterfly Tattoo, I come across this new mixtape that goes by the name SO FAR GONE by Drake. I thought to myself that I've heard of this name before and I was intriged by the cover. So I looked into this project. Whoa, this is by far the best mixtape I've heard of 2009. Really loved the transition of Rap and R&B he portrays. (another note he does it flawlessly too!) Some joints I like on there are 1. Houstatlantavegas, 5. November 18, and 10. Best I Ever Had, not to mention the outro... Actually the whole damn tape was great! I just realized that this cat is an actor from Degrassi, that teeny-bop show. Never the less, the tape goes hard and it's defintley worth the download! Look out for the interview!

There is *B.O.B.*= An Atlanta native that does not let the stereotypical hip hop swagga define him as an artist. *Asher Roth*= A Pennsylvanian cacassian college kid, who is a lyrical python "aka spits deadly vitem" and doesn't consider himself a rapper "SEE HIM". And there's *Charles Hamilton*= Uptown Native "Harlem" who has a "SUPERSONIC" flow and is not your average, or shall I say a dumb down negro.
